Hinckley Public Library

Kids and their families are invited to a stuffed animal sleepover at the Hinckley Public Library on Tuesday, July 10. Wear your pajamas and join us for a special storytime from 6:30-7 p.m. Bring your favorite stuffed animal and leave it overnight. Then return the next day and discover what mischief it got into during the night. No registration is necessary. The Hinckley Public Library invites kids in grades 3-6 to build structures with KEVA planks from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 26. KEVA planks transform libraries into engaging, interactive learning spaces, where unguided building brings stories, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and art to life. Adults with questions on setting up an email account, navigating the Internet, using Microsoft Word and other basic computer tasks are encouraged to sign up for a one-on-one learning opportunity at the Hinckley Public Library. 

Sandstone Public Library

Computer assistance appointments will be held on the last Tuesday of the month, June 26, July 31 and Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Call ahead (320-384-6351) to schedule a 30-minute appointment or sign up on the East Central Regional Library events calendar at www.ecrlib.org. Walk-ins are allowed pending available space. The Hinckley Public Library is located at 106 First St. SE in the downtown area.

 

Summer preschool storytime at Sandstone Library

Kids ages 3-5 and their siblings are invited to summer preschool storytime at the Sandstone Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays, June 14 through Aug. 9.
